Hi Rara
FS appt on Friday was a little disappointing in that he suggested not bothering with any more IUI and going straight to IVF. I spent over an hour with him and he was very thorough in his explanation of 'unexplained infertility'. One thing he said could be a contributing factor for me was tubes that were not necessarily blocked but had very fine adhesions that would let fluid (dye) flow through but would block the passage of sperm and even if sperm managed to get through a fertilised egg wouldn't make it back down. He also questioned why I didn't have a hysteroscopy performed last year when I had the lap and dye studies?? Mentioned possbility of uterine adhesions, fibroids causing implantation issues. He wants us to start completely over with all our tests repeated, some of which I have never had done like pelvic ultrasound and DH SA redone and day 2-5 fertility hormones for me.
I am still thinking about it all, luckily this month I have had other things to distract me so I haven't dwelled on it too much.

I just read your other post re painful BD'ing, sometimes I get that too and it has been explained to me (if all other possiblities are ruled out) as around o time the cervix and ovaries are more sensitive because of swelling and position of cervix. Also, increased BDing can just be like exertion of any other muscle and pain can be experienced during and after.

My fingers are SOOOOOOOOO crossed for you this month, hope the TWW passess in a flash!
