    Oh Smithy,

I am so sorry to hear your news. Don't give up. My first cycle was cancelled as I only had one follicle. Every time I have done IVF I have gone further and further and you are still young. The first IVF, the FS doesn't know how every woman's body will react to the drugs, so I guess the first cycle is always a trial. I know it is a very expensive trial. With my second time, the FS increased the dosage of drugs and I got more follicles.

I hope that you get good news very soon. Take care of yourself and don't be too hard on yourself.

    xx

Hi Max! How are you feeling? I hope all is going smoothly for you. When is the day (BT)?
Just wanted to pop in and let you know that we got 9 eggs collected on Friday, which was a very nice surprise after being told we'd probably only get 2 or 3. We then received a phone call yesterday to let us know that out of the 9, 7 were ok for fertilisation, but so far we only have 1 solitary embie. A bit disappointing, but we are keeping positive, and hoping with all our mite that this little one is a fighter!! The nurse did say that they were "watching," 4 others to see if they will do the right thing, but could not give me an idea of how likely that is. I am really hoping that atleast one of these 4 will have done something, so we can put 2 back, and perhaps increase our chances, so FINGERS CROSSED!!!
Hope you're well. Lotsa BABYDUST & STICKYVIBES to you. How's that Crinone going?

    hi girls,
just to let you know i have done 'several' iVF cycles and even though I have the highest does for follie drugs they can give me- (150 off the top of my head) i still only get a few each time
1st stim cycle - 7 eggs -only one emby- BFN
2nd stim cycle - 3 eggs- 3 emby's - BFP with twins - one frozen with later FET BFN
3rd stim cycle - 4 eggs- 4 embys - BFN, then FET and with one that didn't survive thaw and another defrosted and then BFP that ended with an angel at 12 weeks
so i have one frostie in the freezer still- so going to try my luck again early next year
my FS isn't concerned with my low number of emby's as they usually turn out quality ones!
    HTH
    and it only takes one!!!!
    good luck!!!!

    Hi Max and all!
This morning I've had 1 good looking 8 cell embie (day 3) transferred. All went really well. I'm hoping this 1 is THE one. Fingers crossed!

    Hi Ladies,

Arielle: All the best hun. I am so happy for you that you have had a transfer and 8 cell at day 3 is very good. That is what I had transferred this time. My BT is on Sunday (7th Sep). I am not on Crinone. I had to have Pregnyl shots the day after the transfer and then 3 days after that.
I know I shouldn't do this, but I have a bought a whole lot of pregnancy test and I started to test from last night. I know it is early days, but I like to prepare myself if there is any bad news. So I will be testing every night till Sunday. I know I am crazy. Well last night I had a slight positive, it might be some of the Pregnyl still in my body, but you never know. I did this last time, I started testing 6 days before my BT and they were all positive, so I am hoping this time will be the same.
When is your BT? I hope it is positive for both of us, so we can share out pregnancy journey together.

Odette:Thanks so much for your encouraging words. It really does help when we hear from other ladies who have been through this numerous times. Keeps us with a positive attitude.

    xx

Thanks Max! I am feeling really good about it all.
Hey, that's rather exciting about your POAS results. I do hope it continues to get darker for you, but sounds promising at the moment. I have everything crossed for you hun! Good luck. I don't blame you for testing now. I think I will be testing early too, as I too won't be able to help myself, but think I will probably wait til later next week. My BT is 15th Oct. Yours is getting very close. It would be lovely if we could share Pg journeys! Bring it on!
Take care, and keep in touch!

    Hi Arielle,

Sorry for the bad news, but my AF have arrived, so I will not be joining you on this journey. I wish you all the best and maybe one of these days, I can come back and join one of the pregnancy threads.

    Keep positive.

Oh Max! Just found your message now (I've been MIA this last week). I'm really sorry this cycle wasn't successful, but am wishing you LOADS of luck for your next, when you're ready to go again. Hope you're ok hun. I'll be here if you ever feel the need to vent.
    Take care ok!
    Arielle

P.S. not much going on for me. I am slightly over half way though my tww, and really don't have too many symptoms to report at this stage. I am thinking it hasn't worked, but will keep as pos as poss until BT day. Just out of interest?? Were you using Crinone after your ET? I am wondering if it is a standard for everyone to go on Crinone after ET, and if this is the only thing keeping AF at bay for me??

    Hi Arielle,

Thanks for your kind words, there is always a next cycle for me...I am not giving up this easily yet.

Be positive, and try not to stress about it too much in your 2WW. I wasn't on Crinone. I had a Pregnyl shot a day before my transfer and 3 days after my transfer. I have never used Crinone in any of my cycle.

Good luck and let us know how you go. Lots of sticky vibes to you...for your BT. Fingers and toes crossed for you hun.

Good on you Max! You have a sensational attitude, and I'm sure it will help bring you closer to that much sought after BFP some time soon. Best of luck with it all.

Thanks for your well wishes. I will keep you posted.

    Take care,

Hi Max! How are doing hun?
I promised I would let you know how I went.
Well, looks like I may be anothery who had low follie count, but got lucky! My BT is on Monday, and yesterday I POAS'd twice and got a BFP (once in the morning, and then in the arvo). I retested this morning, and got a 2nd line again (the line is almost as dark as the control line this time). I am very much cr#pping myself right now, but ofcourse am pretty excited too. I am now just super scared about my BT and first scan. Is way too scarey to believe this is really real until after that. I hope you can come join me in the Pg threads v.soon. Hang in there Max. It WILL happen ok!

Arielle hun...this sounds very positive...I am so happy for you....nice to see BFP. Don't be scared at all....I am sure the news will be good. It is good to see that the 2nd line is as dark as the control line...that is very good.

This is a very exciting time for you and your hubby. All the best and all my love.
