How many mature follies did you have, and what size were they when you triggered?
I only had one and it was 14.5 at 11 am Friday, and I triggered Sunday 9 pm for a Tuesday 9 am insem. So I'm guessing that 2.5 days meant it was around 19 when I triggered? Just before the trigger, my OPK was still very clearly negative, so I think my poor follie was too small/immature as my body wasn't getting ready to release it.
I just had the one follie, and I think it was smaller than I expected. And they didn't trigger (I thought they'd forgotten as they had the two attempts before but I'm not certain if it was intentional) and I was CONVINCED it wasn't going to work because it all seemed so slapdash.
ETA: Just checked my blog at that time and from what I've blogged I'm not sure they even did an U/S to check for follies - that's why I was so convinced it couldn't possibly work... So I guess this is kind of a useless post in terms of your query sorry

Last cycle they didn't trigger me either, and it was "successful" but identical to you, started bleeding at 4w5d and fully m/c at 5w. Sometimes I stare at your ticker and hope that like you I get the sticky bfp after the m/c.
I had five mature follies around the 19-22mm range when we triggered. We conceived twins but only one gestational sac had a heartbeat at the 7 week scan. It was a calculated gamble to trigger with so many follies as I had had bad results on two previous PGD/IVF cycles with only two genetically okay embies out of 22 fertilised embies, so our FS gambled that even with 5 follies we would be lucky to get one good one and he was right as it turns out! Good luck hun!
