Ideas to stay at home?

OP what sort of work do you normally do? There are definately legit jobs you can work from home, but a lot of the E-bay selling type jobs really only make a bit of spending money (well as far as my friends have found).
I work in govt. and you can sometimes apply to work 1 or 2 days from home but of course that depends on what your job description is. I have heard that there are legitimate jobs such as medical typing that you can do from home but you would need to know somebody who does it to point out the genuine jobs from the scams.

thanks peanutsmummy! medical typing would actually really suit me and I'd say I'd be qualified for it too... don't know anyone who does that though I still haven't found anything and we are still really stressed over it. We are still looking at moving as an option so if the right job came up in the right location I think we'd take it. I just worked out today that if I went back to my old job working on all the days that dh could look after ds I still wouldn't be making enough to fill the gap so we really need something more stable and preferable work from home for me.
