    Going back to work.

How long before going back to work should I be making contact with them? I'm yet to finalise day care days so I can't give them exact days that I can work but can give them a rough idea of what I plan to do.

It seems so much scarier this time. I feel guilty for wanting to go back. I would go today the way i'm feeling about being at home atm, but on the other hand I'm sad cause I would like to have stayed home longer. Anyway.. thats a whole other thread!

If you have a rough idea as to when you'll be going back, then I'd let them know. Tell them you don't have specific days organised yet, but that you were thinking of going back at xxx time of the year.

Don't feel bad Sunshine that is how I felt the first time round. The walls started caving in, I craved adult interaction and figured my boy needed a mother that was able cope - enjoy spending time with him rather hating being stuck at home. Your mental health is very important and if going back restores it then your girls will be even better off.

I am enjoying it this time, but don't know if that is because we are moving house soon and there is so much to keep me occupied with packing etc and organising. Only time will tell. I have also kept DS1 in Ch/C 2 days a week so that I can have the one on one time with DS2 and also get some of the packing done. Not sure if you already do this. I also feel DS1 would be lost without his time.

Huge hugs and yes if you know your going back I would call an dlet them know you are planning to come back, but waiting on ch/c to confirm the days.

    Take care
