Thanks for your input everyone. I will apply for maternity leave.. I gave them a letter last week that just said I am pregnant and I intend on taking mat leave.
Hopefully they'll be a little bit flexible and let me come back part time. At the moment I dont want to come back to the job, but I also dont want to resign because if i change my mind I cant ask for my job back!
