Trac, how did you go yesterday? How long do you need to wait for your results?
Saw the endo on Tuesday and no insulin for me yet. He has instructed me to walk for 20 minutes after every meal (an hour before I test my BSL). So I've been doing that for a couple of days and while the readings are still on the high end of the scale, they're not too bad. Except of course for my fasting BSL. This morning was the highest it's been at 6.9 which was higher than it was last night. It's just so frustrating. The first two weeks everything went smoothly and now I'm struggling to keep things on track. I still can't figure out what works for me and what doesn't because my levels vary so much even when I eat the same thing.
Congratulations Trac, that's fantastic news, welcome to the world little Jaylan.
Snowchickie, how'd you go with your GTT? Hope everything went ok.
Megan - Great news that you aren't on insulin yet, I was lucky enough to control my GD without insulin. I know it is very frustrating getting different levels, even when you eat the same things, it used to annoy the hell out of me.
Gill - How are you going with your insulin injections?
Sorry I don't have much time to do anymore personals.
Belinda - Fantastic news your results came back all good I am my results will be the same. I am supposed to go for mine in the next few wks but I am holding off until after xmas, can't handle the bad news at xmas time if thats the case. God I hope not.
