I got them after my first child and each pg after that they got worse, they seemed to be really bad in the weeks leading up to birth and i would just pray that i wouldn't go into labour as there would be no way that i could push a baby out... With my last bub i found that those days where you go to the toilet several times they would really flare up so def the runs and vomitting has put heaps of pressure and made them come out, the whole area can swell up. I was in so much pain that i used proctocyl (like anusol) and also xylocaine which is a numbing cream. Also *TMI WARNING* if they are external you can push them back in and it relieves the pressure heaps.
When i was in labour i don't remember them hurting at all i only remember the contractions.
i have them now too their only small but i have a couple.they arent painful but im being gentle because im worried they'll get worse and start to hurt.if they do ill be buying some cream i've heard it works, but i am worried they might get worse especially during labour.
OMG I have suffered with my bunch of grapes since I was 15 and now that I am up the duff they are terrible and yes when the burst and bleed it is soooooooo painful. I really hope that yours don't flair up anymore. My doctor gave me a fabulous cream and some coloxal tablets which helps to soften the stool (I really hate that word)
I went and got some cream yesterday from the chemist, and OMG.. I was sooo embarrassed talking to a stranger about something hanging off my rear end... pmsl!!!! I went soooo red.....
Haven't tried it yet, haven't had a chance today to uh.. feel around... LOL
