Hun you should see a medical professional about this, it can mean a complication. call your Dr or MW today and get them to find out what is going on.
I am 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant and today i have woken up with really really itchy skin on my thighs, arms, belly and face. I cant see any rashes anywhere that i am itchy. It is like a pr*ckly itchy feeling. What do you think it could be?

This must be driving you insane!!!!!!
I had this too, but I wasn't itchy on my thighs, and it wasn't so early.
The only relief I found was to apply moisturiser every half hour massaging my skin - not scratching it or irrating it. And for those extreeeemely frustating times, I jumped under a cold shower, or put a cold wet face cloth on my skin.
I found some days were worse than others. Thankfully I haven't had any dramas for quite some time now.... although my skin is still quite dry.
Hope this helps.
I can't get in to see a doctor for another 2 weeks. Apparently 2 doctors are off sick and one is on holidays and i dont have another clinic to go to.
Is there anything that can stop the itching in the mean time? I can't function, it's driving me nuts!
I agree with alioops - drop in to the clinic and get it checked. Not meaning to scare you either but yes it can mean a complication. Best to be safe than sorry.
Good luck and hope it is just nothing for you![]()
Please go and consult your doctor ASAP. I had these symptoms and whilst i thought it sounded trivial, it ended up being cholestasis. Itching is the only real symptom of this rare pregnancy condition and I had to be very carefully monitored.
