Is it a CL cyst and it just looks like a black hole? If so, this is very normal and a good sign, it indicates the ovary you ovulated from to conceive your baby. It kind of takes the place of the placenta till around 12 weeks, helping sustain your pregnancy.
I have a cyst on my left ovary which was actually ruptured before I knew I was pregnant. This 'cyst' is actually more a tumor, they thought perhaps a brenner tumor (alhtough I doubt it as they are exceptionally rare in pregnancy) but hopefully an endometrioma, because it's solid and very round. This looks very different to a CL cyst on a scan. Even in my case, with the abnormal cyst/tumor, they still just are waiting till the pregnancy is over to check it and whilst it's only causing my mild discomfort it's not a concern at the moment..
I noticed you have gone thru the turmoil of endometriosis.
I have a 3 yr old and we are trying for #2. Im currently going thru tests to check out my hormone levels as Im having pain on my right ovary again which is where the endo was. I'm fearing it is coming back and I won't be able to fall preggas because of it.
I had a lap in Dec so I thought i would fall preggas straight away but it ain't happening !
Actually the Dr made me do a preg test today (blood test) to make sure im not preggas as im having pain on my right side (ovary).. breasts are a wee bit tender and also had pain in my uterus. (I think the uterus pain is due to irratable bowel and constipation as your bowel can push against your uterus when constipated). Im just a bit confused and a bit worried. I've made an appointment with the naturopath 02 may as she is renowned for getting your body back upto scratch and for helping with fertility.
Do you mind sharing your story about the process of falling preggas with endo ?
