Yep I have had it. Itchy as all geddup, looked like measles. They say the only thing that relieves it is giving birth....I got it post-partum day 7 who knew you could get it then???

Not sure if that's actually what is is but gp thinks so. Just take anti histamine and calamine lotion

I got it too with dd2.

Worse itch ever, felt orgasmic when i started scratching but then the bumps bled and stung when i had a shower.

Was only able to put calamine on it which was ok but didnt relieve pain.

Try not to scratch i still have some scarring from it!

I had bad urticaria that spread from my limbs to my belly. It was awful but it wasn't as bad as PUPPS.

It hasn't completely disappeared, but it has significantly reduced. Things that helped include:
    - reduced showers from 2 to 1 a day
    - reduced temperature of showers/bath
    - dandelion tablets
    - washed with pinetarsol
    - sprayed skin with Wheatgrass spray

I think the wheatgrass spray has being fabulous. I also moisturise with coconut oil afterwards.

I totally agree with the water temp and frequency of showering. I also found oatmeal baths helped as I cannot use calamine lotion.

It doesn't sound like PUPPS. It usually starts a lot later in pregnancy, though I get urticaria early on.

the joint pain and feeling cold sounds flu-like. Have you tried the glass test on the rash?

Bd- do u live country?? The reason I ask is I do .... About 3 years ago I got Ross river virus (spots, sore joints, nausea and fatigue). It is carried by Mosquitos that pick up the virus from kangaroos. I know... Blergh!
Just a thought, but if dh has spots too... Maybe not xxx
I hope you get some answers and relief soon Hun xx

I got this with my 1st pregnancy at around 35-36 weeks and it was HELL. As soon as I gave birth it was gone. It was all over my tummy. Only thing that helped was cold showers (thankfully it was summer!) but as soon as i got out, it would be painful again.

I am only 12 weeks pregnant this time around and I am already VERy concerned that I have PUPPPS this early on!!! Can you believe it??? My dermatologist is concerned and he isnt sure what it is yet, and needs a 2nd opinion from another dermatologist next week...... I am really really concerned its PUPPPS. Which is rare in subsequent pregnancies AND also rare in 1st or 2nd tri......
