    Kelly, I was just reading the article that you posted about common side effects, and in there you have put that senna is safe to take in pregnancy - I spoke to a pharmacist friend of mine the other day and she said to avoid senna as it can promote uterine contractions and therefore early labour?? Have you heard this?

    well, I finally saw the doc a week ago, and she "popped" it.

    OMG the pain.

    Apparently the one I could see was fine and will sort itself out - there was another one internally that had thrombosed (blood clot formed inside) and so she got the clots out. I've been a LOT better since the day after that ... took a little while to heal.
