Your breastmilk will probably be full of lots of useful antibodies which will help bub. Not sure they could really avoid bub's exposure seeing as you're so close to term.

Recovery from shingles depends on how soon it was treated, so its good you got onto it when you did. Eat lots of oranges and drink lots of orange juice.

Thanks for your replies girls. Spoke to my doctor at 9.01am this morning - nice way to return from his holiday! - and he said it is fine. Breastfeeding will definately help the baby and the rash looks lots better, so its all on for tomorrow!!Thanks for your help - it was greatly appreciated
