    Stupid liver

My stupid liver is starting to play up... I have bile in my urine as well as proteins and my platelets are a bit low

I had bloods taken yesterday to determine extent of liver function... I can do another 34 weeker... 32 weeks tomorrow and I'm scared

Good luck, I'm hoping its function is enough to last you a few more weeks. Fx and lots of hugs.

Results not great but nothing catastrophic either - have to repeat them tomorrow and see ob on Friday unless he calls as soon as he gets results

Good luck with the second test and the results I'm 32+4 today, sitting in the antenatal ward and hoping to make it to 34+2, a couple of weeks makes such a difference

Thank you all for your support and well wishes xoxo

Yesterday's results were not high enough to get me admitted - PHEW - but only just. Have to have another set of bloods first thing on Monday morning and then see Obs on Tuesday. If levels have risen then I will be admitted so I can have steroid shots to help bubs lungs etc and then we will monitor liver function levels with daily bloods and make a decision re inducing when/if the levels reach a dangerous level. At the moment, the levels are high but it is safer for me to stay pregnant if that makes sense. If I have any blurred vision, headaches or epigastric pain then I am to go straight to the birthing unit... they have been forewarned about my possible arrival by my Obs. So this weekend I am getting my bag ready The good news is bubs is head down...

    Stupid liver

I'm beIng admitted tomorrow for review by the hepatology team (liver specialists) - not sure how long I'll be in for and at this stage staying pregnant until at least Thursday - levels went up... Not by much but enough to be a concern. See how I go once admitted
