Anyone in thesame boat?

Hi, I have just turned 39 in June, about to marry my soul mate, its the second time around for the both of us. after long chats and with the opportunities that life has for us at this stage, we have decided TTC for our last child,( only child between us). We have to go IVF, because i had a tubal ligation 10 years ago, and so here we are. We have started all the ground work, Ive just had all my shots, and blood tests, that have come back with great results. Our GP said that we have a great chance to concieve , because i have conceived 3 other children with out any problems before the Tubal ligation.We have our first IVf clinic appointment in mid December and really excited about the possibilities that next year may hold.
I was hoping if there is anyone here, that is in the same situation as us, and how their journey has been so far? I was almost 16 before AF arrived, so i was also wondering if this would increase our chances with producing eggs?seen that i was a late starter. I know that i'm going to be in here regularly as Ive been here for the past 3 days already, i think i read nearly everything here
