So I went to the Dr today about my leg/hip.

A year ago I had a stress fracture in my Femoral Neck (the little bone that connects the Femur to the Hip) along with a Labral Tear (the cartilage in the hip joint) and associted Bursitis (swelling of the Bursa, the fluid pockets ((I think)) ).

I had 12 weeks ff work and all was good till recently.

So I went back today and he said it's unlikely to be the stress fracture but i'm having a bone scan on Friday to check. More likely is the Labral Tear which we pretty much ignored hoping it would go away. I also had superficial, localised pain which he said was not the tear and more likely the Bursitis but have an Ultrasound to confirm that.

So if it is the Tear and Bursitis then it means a Cortisone injection for the B...easy but the Labral Tear will require surgery. Keyhole surgery but still 8-12 weeks till I can go back to work. When I dont work I don't get paid. Have no idea how i'm going to afford this

And the bone scan is a problem in itself. Have to have an injection of dye in the morning then go back in a few hours for the scan which takes an hour. I've got an app at 11.40 on Fri and the kids in after school care but they can't guarentee what time the scan will be so I don't know if i'll get back in time. I guess i'll have to ask XH which will cause a **** fight

Not happy.
