I always find ventolin gives me the shakes

I use Asmol puffer now and thankfully haven't had to use a nebuliser for a long time but I did have to use ventolin earlier this year as that was all that was available and i had the shakes

If the nebuliser or puffer aren't working then I would suggest taking her to the hosp.. I hope she is better soon

ETA: Meant to add. Mine is playing up this week too so I know that even though we are in different states I think this topsy turvy weather is playing havoc with it..

Thanks ladies, she says it's harder to breath out, thought it would have been the other way around. It has to happen when DH is not here too, he's asthmatic and always knows what to do, whereas I tend to panic more lol.

Breathing out is exactly how it works.. If she is struggling I would get her seen to.. or maybe ring and ask for advice.. Steam rooms sometimes help but it depends if she is getting the start of a chest infection..

That's exactly how my asthma works too - I call it having the "breath farts" because it is a bit like trying to force air out. I get the shakes from "too much" ventolin - but for me, that's only 2 or 3 puffs.

I took her in last night and the GP put her on Amoxyl and prednisilone. She's coming down with a cold, not coughing as much today which is good.

Hope she is feeling better soon, asthma is not nice. and yep it's harder to breathe out then breathe in.
