Yup another lifer for eczema here too, it sucks. Agreed with above trial and error I'm afraid.....I use QV oil in the bath and also QV lotion, it's very mild, I even us it on my face and my twin babies. You can also get a mild hydrocortisone over the counter 0.5 strength I think it is, that will help to get it under control. But I would only get small bottles of what ever you decide to try just incase it doesn't agree with your skin. But what ever you find that doesn't irritate you, make sure you use lashings of lotion after a shower or bath, keeping the skin moisturised is the key to preventing the crazy itching. Also try to wear cotton clothes against your skin as some synthetic fibres will irritate too. And cotton bedlinen etc. I hope you find something that works for you soon. x
I love Lucas's Pawpaw ointment for excema! I find it really thick and oily so it really helps to protect and heal my skin. I really love it! I have it on the back on my hands, from my wrist to my knuckles, and it's pretty bad, especially in dry weather, and doubley especially when I have to use chemicals at work (even when I wera protective gear, it still gets to me).
