Amy, try not to fret too much, it's fantastic that you are getting it checked out so promptly but it's also helpful the remember that the vast majority of lumpy bits turn out to be benign, especially in young women. Pain is not usually an indicator of breast cancer. You have statistics on your side. I know, it doesn't make it any less scary, but there is a good chance the scans will rule out any problems.
Thanks Marydean, I keep telling myself that but unfortunately this isnt always the case. My grandmother died at 52 years old and the only way she found out she had breast cancer was because she has a very painful ache in her breast and went to the doctors, 3 days later they did a double mastecotomy and told her to get her affairs in order as she had 6 weeks to live....she died that night.

Im not saying this is going to happen to me, and I truely believe that it will be 3 cycts but I always believe that everyone is different and reacts differently. PLus the fact that I had canerous cells on my cervix at 19 is a bit scary.

Thank you for all your lovely messages and support xxx
