I dont think its harmful for your baby if thats what you mean.
The most important thing for both of you is to wash and dry your hands REALLY well to try to stop spreading it. Do you know how he got it (as in have other people at his work got it, family etc) as that might help you aviod it also.
It can actually be plenty harmful.

I got gastro at 20wks pregnant after my son got it very mildly. It hit me hardcore in an hours time frame and I ended up near unconcious by the time my Dh got home from work 3hrs later because I thought Id wait it out; its just gastro right I was in hospital on a drip severely dehydrated for 4 days in pre-term labour and at one stage they couldnt slow the contractions and we were told to prepare ourselves.
It started off 17wks of consistant pre term labour, a mountain of medication, constant monitoring and bedrest.
Not something you want to experience if you can avoid it.

Just be vigilant in your fluid intake and if you at all feel extremely bad or have cramping head straight to the hospital! Better to be safe than sorry.
