mine was on the back of my thigh so I'm not 100% sure what they did. They put local anaethetist in (this did have a bit of a sting to it), removed the mole with a clearance boundary (sent it off to pathology to be checked), whacked a few stitches in, popped a dressing over it and had a short course of oral AB's just to be careful. Went back a week or so later to have the stitch out. I was comfortable that night but did need panadol for a day or two more because of the location.
Best of luck. The thought of it is worse than the actual removal.
