Alan, out of the many things it could be, and I understand that you can't diagnose over the Internet - is it likely that it could be something that won't go away on its own? The thing I'm terrified of most is not the physical examination, although that scares me as well, its the thought that I'll be told its nothing and I just hafta deal with it til it goes away. I can handle it if its something serious, but for it to turn out to be nothing, I feel like I'm 10 years old being called a hysterical hypochondriac
