hypoglycaemia is low blood sugar levels.

I know about it from a gestational diabetic (and on insulin) point of view.

Symptoms include sweating, shaking, hot flushes, lethargy, confusion, headache etc.

It is serious and can cause unconciousness and even lead to coma and death.

Blood tests could include glucose tolerance test, fasting blood sugars, glycated haemoglobin.

The way it was treated for me (as gestational diabetic) was regular small meals and a sugary food if my blood sugars got too low (like a glass of orange juice or a few jelly babies etc)

Do you think your blood sugars are low?

Please see a doctor if this is so.

Hope this helps
