Thats the wrong advice, having sugar will make your blood sugar shoot up, then drop down even more, leaving you feeling even worse. Sugar should be totally avoided. The best advice is to carry small packets of high protein foods around such as peanuts, they will help stabilize your blood sugar much quicker and wont give you a quick boost then a big dip in your levels..![]()
