    Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. If you get it and dont have meds for it, to begin with you should drink something sweet, or eat some honey or jelly beans or something sweet to try and raise the blood sugar levels so you dont pass out or something. But if you have it you should go see a doc about it.
    Thats the wrong advice, having sugar will make your blood sugar shoot up, then drop down even more, leaving you feeling even worse. Sugar should be totally avoided. The best advice is to carry small packets of high protein foods around such as peanuts, they will help stabilize your blood sugar much quicker and wont give you a quick boost then a big dip in your levels..

    Ive had hypoglycemia for nearly 20 years.
