aww thank you all... i feel tad better now, ... would be surprised if it's unhealthy eating as i do eat somewhat healthy, never fried or fatty foods ... chocolate rarely (i'm over weight but not obese IYKWIM) ... but then i did have gallstones after all, so who knows
thanks Feeb yep i gotta do that more ... water is something i struggle to drink and know i should do (Ballarat water makes me feel ill, i can even taste it if i filter it and i have yet to find bottled water that i like the taste of) ... i've just gotta drink it no matter what !!
LOL Kass did that last night and as always everything tells you the worst like Liver disease, etc ... Ads laughed at me but at the same time he freaked out at some of the info. BUT at the same token some websites did mention just what my GP warned me of, so that was good i guess to confirm that info.
Nikkie gorgeous offer but these days i struggle to hear someone talking to me, it's from being imbalanced (hope the meds help with that) ... will catch up for sure one day
MD thanks for that, yeh Doc said same thing which some level is comforting !!
BW i appreciate such great info there, that helps as the GP did say it takes some time to heal on own xoxox
Hi Smiles4u
How is it going with your liver now? I also have an imflamed liver for the past 18 months. I have to get more test results tomorrow and am stressing. Did yours get better?
.... OMG i totally forgot i had this thread happening, so sorry everyone
Thanks so much Miss H for reminding meand for so kindly asking too !!
Well, i did heaps of tests over a course of about 2mths to rule out diabetes & glandular fever, and anything else the GP might have thought was the reason behind my inflamed liver and it turned out to be i had a delayed effect on the drugs given to me during my gall bladder surgery back in late January this year. The GP said it was going to take possibly months for the side effects (which i mentioned i had in the thread). I was prescribed medication to help with the nausea which i honestly don't think really helped but thankfully the nausea went after sometime (but slowly), the physical imbalanced side of things i still have slightly but it's my blurred vision that concerns me the most as it hasn't improved like i thought it would have by now. The GP said not to get my eyesight checked but to wait it out but i think i will see her again in about a month's time if it has not improved lots by then (reading anything close up is what i struggle with the most).
Overall i'm heaps better then back then ... and the GREAT NEWS is my last test result several weeks ago showed my inflamed liver is no longer inflamed and my liver is back to normal![]()
(and the GP gave me the ok i could drink alcohol at the GC meetup we had a few weeks ago but she warned me not to over do it which um i kind of didn't listen but overall didn't suffer IYKWIM )
So in having said all that Miss H i honestly wouldn't worry about it as i was so surprised how quickly my liver went back to normal![]()
I'm sorry I didn't see this when you originally posted! I would have (and still will) let you know that it is actually pretty common to have elevated LFT's before, during, and after gall stone attacks and for a couple of months after having the gall bladder out.
So glad your LFT's are normal!
MG
................heartfelt thanks MG for your kind words, you truly are an incredibly caring and lovely lady and someone i DO admire here
