Went to the GP once DH got home, just a walk in. Was packed and they said the wait would be over an hour, so we went to the local hospital which wasn't too far from the walk in (which wasn't too close to home...trains and migraines are awful). They checked me out, I'd been drinking loads of water and some powerade so wasn't dehydrated, but was having a lot of trouble seeing. Didn't have IV but was given painkillers. I ended up getting a taxi home while DH and DD got the train. Have been lying very still since. It's subsided to what I'd call a very bad headache now, but it's manageable. So scary. My BP was fine, first thing the checked. Can't believe the level of pain I was in, total searing, blinding pain. Thanks so much for all your help. I hope I never experience that again!
