Perhaps another visit to the chemist to pick up some FESS. It's a saline nasal spray. I'm currently using it for a cold. The packet says it is safe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding and is non habit forming.

    Hi Laura
Livostin category B3 and should not be used during pregnancy. However as you have only been using it for a short time I doubt that there will be any problems. Perhaps you should go back to the chemist and tell them about the stress and fear that they have put you through.

I'd go straight back to the chemist and tell them how flawed their "advice" was and ask for a refund...

Laura, I'm told polaramine is ok to use in pregancy. I went in when my allergies were driving me nuts, and the pharmacist showed me the listing in the book that stated category A.

    You are correct
Polaramine is a category A and therefore safe to use

If you don't want to use meds... I just get a cool we washer and place it over the bridge of my nose and eyes and lay down and rub your tongue against the rof of your mouth.. It is the only thing apart from munching on bread that works for me.. I am unable to take polaramine ect as I just pass out for 2 days.. Clarytyne works but I don't think you can take that when preg or BF
