If you don't want to use meds... I just get a cool we washer and place it over the bridge of my nose and eyes and lay down and rub your tongue against the rof of your mouth.. It is the only thing apart from munching on bread that works for me.. I am unable to take polaramine ect as I just pass out for 2 days.. Clarytyne works but I don't think you can take that when preg or BF

Definitely go back Laura! Let us know how you go.

I was giving panadeine by the hospital for a migraine while i was pregnant. I too thought it wasn't allowed in prgnancy!

I would definately go back and complain.

Imagine if this same girl keeps giving the wrong advice? Someone could end up with serious side effects or dramas from her misinformation.

If she was the pharmacist then you should definately go back and inform them of the error.

I can vouch for polaramine. I used it when PG and it is the best thing I have EVER used. It does make you sleepy though. I still use it when I need something for hayfever.

    Hope you feel better soon.

I forgot to add before.. I used Polaramine too and because they used to make me so drowsy (not good whilst at work!!) I used to take half a tablet which used to work the same as a full tablet but not make me as drowsy. So maybe give that a try if you want to give these tablets a go.
