    Thanks Willow, not sure as I have had AF back since DD was 11wks but have only gotten the cysts back in the past 3 mths after I weaned her - same thing happened with DS and I jsut went on the pill as I was scared of the contorting thing. I have only heard of them as corpus luteum cysts. The only one I have had that they worried about was the one before I fell pg with DS as it messed up my cycles getting AF anywhere between every 7 days to 56 days

    From the ever reliable wikipedia cause I'm lazy - although this list does seem fairly well put together :-)

    ome or all of the following symptoms may be present, though it is possible not to experience any symptoms:

    * Dull aching, or severe, sudden, and sharp pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen (one or both sides), pelvis, vagina, lower back, or thighs; pain may be constant or intermittent -- this is the most common symptom
    * Fullness, heaviness, pressure, swelling, or bloating in the abdomen
    * Breast tenderness
    * Pain during or shortly after beginning or end of menstrual period.
    * Irregular periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding or spotting
    * Change in frequency or ease of urination (such as inability to fully empty the bladder), or difficulty with bowel movements due to pressure on adjacent pelvic anatomy
    * Weight gain
    * Nausea or vomiting
    * Fatigue
    * Infertility
    * Increased level of hair growth
    * Increased facial hair or body hair
    * Headaches
    * Strange pains in ribs, which feel muscular
    * Bloating
    * Strange nodules that feel like bruises under the layer of skin

    Hadn't heard of the facial hair before - which may explain the moustash I woke up with a few days ago????

    Thank you!

    I only ask as I have PCOS and since I have come off implanon I have twice in the last 6 wks had really severe pain, like period pain, but to the point that I need to vomit, then it goes. It is bad pain, really bad. Haven't had a period, which is normal for me a my PCOS is quite bad, but I have had spotting, which is weird. The spotting lasted 2 weeks then stopped then the last pains I had I spotted again then it stopped.

    I am pretty confused about the pain. I was really intense then gradually stopped. Felt like period pain.
