Hi girls sorry i havent been around for awhile just so busy and im SO over SCHOOL HOLIDAYS! There has to be a law put in place i think .
Breah is now 8months and is walking along the furniture to bloody clever.
She is still a dream to have and be around. As for you dearmum you make me laugh. Im very busy and happy with what i have at the moment. There are days i think god i dont have time for myself and im so so busy. But then other days i think of how much i would love to give life to another little person. All in all im PRETTY sure there will be another baby for me. When i just dont know right now.

Welcome Bel- I had my reversal thru Dr Cooper in Sydney at the RPA. Like LVU said im pretty sure i heard someone say its covered under medicare now too so maybe look into that and see what you come up with. Best of luck!
Hi to everyone else and i'll be back on later to finish my post. Take care girls xxxxx

    OOh dearmum, not long now

Mumofsix - wow 8 months has gone so fast... I know what you mean about school hols, we have 8 weeks down here in Tassie and it is just too long, the boys are bored by 2 or 3 weeks. I must say they have 4 weeks left and I think the first 4 have gone quickly, I think counting down to the birth of our bub has made the time go fast.
So we may have to change your name again hey ?? Mumofseven??

Kiya I think I am ready to meet this little girl !! everything is begining to become a bit of a chore now (well it has been for a while now) I started swimming once a week recently and it is sooo nice to not have the weight of a big belly for a while!!!
Hope your IVF starts soon, cant wait to go on your journey with you....

Well I gotta go but will catch up again soon.

    Take care everyone.

hi everyone hope u are all fine.

storm u said woolcott did ur tr, did u like him? any complaints? im feeling i should go with him but wanting to know from others what his like, im extra careful this time hopefully this will be my last op. dont want any surprises, hoping to have tr sometime this year, want to get the best doc possible, hey, could blame me !!!lol

after tr, and u pregnant is there special monitoring u have to go thru for certain tests etc, been reading on net that u have to have a heap of blood tests and ultrasounds etc, just wanting to be prepared if this happens.

hey been reading ur posts and how u guys are over the holidays i never get them coz i homeschool lol im either silly or really enjoy having kids around like all day hahahah probably a bit of both, do enjoy seeing them learn new stuff, but sometimes that trip into town looks pretty darn good!!!!!!!!!!!

it wont be long now guys and kids b in school and u can get some relief.lol

I found him terrific! Very caring & considerate, & explained everything in detail. I have no complaints at all.

I didn't have any extra monitoring though, just scans around 6-7 weeks to make sure baby was where it was meant to be.Again I never had any probs.

He he school holidays, I love them it's a chance to sit back & get to know you're kids again, they spend so much time at school really. Good for you homeschooling I've thought about it, but I just don't think I would have enough time with them. It wouldn't be fair.

hey kiya and dearmum, thanks for the support...
storm, did woolcott open you up or did you have laproscopy?
bel78, i sought to have it done by woolcott too but the only reason i didn't is because he wanted to cut me open and because i have had one c/section it meant that i would not be able to have a natural birth and i really want a natural birth if i ever have another baby...... i don't know if you have had a c/section but just thought you should know...
onemore, i look forward to your good knews.... how bout some pics?????

Bel78- Are you having the T/R cause you want to have another bub or just to try and fix the pain. A girlfriend of mine had alot of pain and when they opened her back up they had cliped it to one of her organ thats why she had so much pain. Sorry if you have already explained i must have missed it. Only reason i ask is cause after the reversal it can take up to 2 years to fall pregnant thats if it works theres no guarantees. In saying that some of the girls on here have been super lucky and have fallen within a couple of months. Also the eptopic pregnancy rate is pretty high. I wasnt so lucky and after a year of trying we decided to do IVF. It was so so much cheaper and didnt come with the risk of having an eptopic. I wish i just did the Ivf in the first place we live and learn. How old are your kids?? Home schooling you are a brave woman no rest for you you poor thing.

    I am new here

    Hi girls,

My name is Yvonne, I live in Sydney. I had 3 beautiful girls (9,4,20mths), I stupidly had my tubes clipped after my last baby. At that point in our lives we thought it was what we wanted, But I regretted it straight away! I felt like I was only half a woman,I had lost my ability to have children.

I kept busy and distracted myself with study trying to push my guilt aside. In the past 6 months I have studied TAFE full time to become an AIN,(enrolling for further study again)

Now just 20months later I am looking at getting a reversal, Now medicare covers it I am even keener to do this.

Well thats me in a nutshell! I hope to get to know you all on our journey.

    Yvonne

Big hello to the two new ladies. I had my tubes cut and tied after having number 5 cause it was the right thing at the time. 6months after having my son i decided to have a t/r cause things had changed and i really felt bad like yourselves. Dr Cooper did my reversal at the RPA Hospital and it cost $3500. 12months later i still wasnt pregnant and the risks of having an eptopic pregnancy after the t/r was pretty high. i didnt want to wait any longer so we went down the IVF path($1,450 for the whole cycle at westmead ivf clinic). We hit the jack pot and got a beautiful little girl first go. All the girls are very lovely in here and im sure will give you loads more info.
Looking forward to getting to know you both

Hi Yesitsyaya & Minibugz Nice to hear from you both.
I can feel you pains i was the same i had my 4 kids and and went in for a six week after birth check and my doc said to me well now that you have had 4 kids you should have a clip put on your tubes, hmmm i said oh ok then.He told me if i ever want more kids just come in and take off the clip haha like its that easy, anyway i agreeded without looking into it.As soon as i had the OP i felt the regret also, like now i cant get pregnant whenever i want.So for me its been 12yrs and i was so close to having the TR done and one doc talked me out of it saying that IVF would be a better option as its quicker and you wont get etopic pregnancies.Well i was blessed after just one shot yep only 6 weeks i fell pregnant doing IVF and have never regreted it.Im now going for another try and hopfully it will be a positive on the 23rd.(I lost my first bub @20weeks)sad and long story. If you guys are doing it to fall pregnant i would really say go for IVF but if your doing it to be pain free then for sure get the TR done.I never had a problem with my tubes clipped so far so good.
Well we are around if you ever want to talk...lol...we love our chats.

Ladies.....I swear this waiting has been so much harder this time around,im super happy yesterday and misserable today, yesterday my boobs were looking like i was pregnant and today nothing ahhh its killing me.I have done 2 HPTs already with a negative result.Im not going to do a HPT now until 2 days before my BT so thats on the 21st,the negative result is just bringing me down.
Well on a positive note i have waited now for months i guess a few more days cant be to bad.
Well im off to have a cold shower it was B*****Y 41 today in Perth and there i was doing a builders clean ahhh.

I GOT A BFP THIS MORNING.......
OK I gave in to my second voice and did a test and it was positive... ok I now your probably like why aren't you screaming from the roof tops ...I am... I am oddly going through and array of emotions....I so want this but I am so darn scared of getting my hopes up but I don't want to get excited as I just read that you can get false positives with Clomid on Google (just my luck!)..... will do another test tomorrow ....stay tuned knowing my luck it will all fall over in a heap.....
