Hey girl well Af came today right on time:doh: . Oh well its all good hubby better get right next time. Going to have to put off trying for the time being. Hubby got a new job on the oil rigs and hes leaving in the morning. They work two weeks on and then home for two weeks. So by the time he gets back ill be on day 15,to late. So it looks like we will miss the right time every month from here on in. Not to sure what to think right now.

Zaccie is still being feral & not sleeping through the day. He went to bed at 8.30 last night, is still a sleep now, but he's gone from just putting to bed & going to sleep, to screaming, having to be rocked & have one of us lay with him......... wonder what is up with the little guy.

Storm - Wilhelm went through this after having Vy, bit a jealousy maybe cause their not the baby anymore. Its bloody stressful.

I was thinking that too Maz, but since she's been here, nothing changed it's only been since last thrs. hi luvchildren.....Yes my appointment drawing near, I have checked out your website i wish there was a website when I had mine done.The doctor didn't tell me anything all he said was there is no other options that stops me getting pregnant. Hopefully it will make women stop and think about the decision if I knew the outcome i would not have had it done.

Well I am new but after reading some of the posts I feel a little better,
I had a miscarriage 2001 and while I was in hospital they also clamped my tubes. This left me feeling low(sad &ped off)to put it nice at this time in my life I was already at a low as your house had just burnt down and my best friend had passed away then 2 months later I was told my dad had cancer so this really toped it off . So my hubby and I have been doing ivf and done no good :( , so now thinking of having a tubal reversal but I am very scared and that’s another story so having to think hard about it .
Well I live in Ballarat Vic have 5 great kids and I know I should be happy with that but I feel robbed I would love just one more may be two but time is ticking away so fast.
Ray, Russell Dalton is very nice and all of his staff are too, my hubby and I went to him last May and he put my mind at rest and I am shore he will do the same for you .We spoke to him about ivf and he does most of his work at St johns $$$ so we ended up going to Melbourne to do ivf , but I would be interested in his cost for tubal reversal . I have been going to ring him for appt myself.

hi bernie ... my name is ray. Sorry to here things haven't gone well for you. I also had a miscarriage 2 actually 1 about 8 years ago and the other about 3 years ago, Then 2 years ago we got the clamps under doctors suggestion because 2 of my boys had medical conditions and about the same time my dad died of cancer very quick 3 weeks.
So know we are going for another one ,my kids health has approved and have more money know thats a big bonus. Dr dalton i have heard also goes through public hospital as well thats where i'm hoping to go it's cheaper. Dr dalton cost around $3000-$4000 and $$$in public hospital but go into a private hospital it's about another $3000+, there fine not charging us to get the clamps on but charges us heaps to get them off.
I have a appointment in 3 weeks I'll let you know what he says, my husband doesn't want to do ivf i'm sorry it didn't work out for you but be positive for tubal reversal.
How old are you? i'm 32 years old have 3 boys my husband and i have been together for 13 years and married for 9 years

i got my tubual reversal done at the royal womens in carlton. I waited 10 months from my first appointment until I had them done. I went on the public system and didnt pay a cent. The staff, doctors, gyno's were fantastic and very understanding. I did not feel like they judged me once. Hubby and I have been together over 10 years. We have 2 sons pre reversal and now have a beautiful little girl since. We're hoping to go back again in October (If I dont fall before hand). I had a m/c in November, 2 months after having Vyolett so Im very fertile.
And Bernie - who cares how many children you have, the most important thing is that your heart has enough love to give each and everyone of them. And quiet obviously it does. We're all here to support you and each other. Dont be a stranger and stay in contact.

forgot to mention there is a chicky in the contraception thread asking if anyone has had a tubual ligation for contraceptive perposes. She wants to get it done cause the pill makes her bleed and she can have a reversal if she wants more kids. I told her to think ofanother option. I dont know why anyone would consider doing it for just 2 or 3 years. Have a sticky and tell her what you guys think.

I have been doing ivf at the Royal womens Reproductive services and they are lovely and was put on the waiting list last sep and they told me the waiting list was up too 2 years way too long it would kill me as i'm 39 now and hubby is 31 I will keep in touch

hi bernie... you are never to old for a baby my aunty was 44 years old when she had her 4th her partner my uncle is 4.5 years older then me( 2nd marriage ). It will work out for you, that what i have been telling myself . I don't know much about ivf but i didn't think there was a waiting list i just thought if you had the money or private health you just get it done( (i'm very blonde some times)

Bernie, Hi. Sorry ivf hasn't worked for you...... hopefully this will..and you will make some mates along the way....(us) I fully understand that your are scared and have heaps of questions.....I had my reversal from Dr cooper in sydney it cost me upwards of $8k and i have never regretted it....
ray, thanks for the support. i wish I had of known more too. my boobs get sore in the month... probably around ovulation but at the moment i have polycysitc ovaries.. so i can't tell if i ovulate or not. not to worried about it..just gonna watch it.

Hi Storm well the Hospital told me after theatre that I signed the paper work on the way to the theatre but I know they never spoke to me about it before ,after they had done it they told that it was the best thing for me. Buy then it was to late don’t they say in time things get easer well I don’t think so as time has passed I only want one more, it’s harder now that my girlfriend is having one. Have go to work now bye.

It's going to sound funny but about 8 months ago when we decided for another baby and we would like a girl her name is to be savannah. Now i went shopping with a friend she brought a pram named savannah, looked at some furniture in target named savannah, now that lady from desperate housewifes had a baby girl called it savannah i just think it's funny what do all of you think?

I would have to agree with Maz about the age thing, you are only as old as you feel.Your still a spring chicken at 39 look on the news these days people still seem to popping them out at the ripe old age of 67 now thats bl;) ;) dy crazy. I too have 5 kids and i just want one more then i will feel complete:pray: . I had my tubes cut and tied and it was the right thing to do at that time of my life but things change and my life is very different now. I too am starting to look into IVF but i dont really know to much about it but im sure im about to find out. Good luck with everything and i wish you all the best
Hey Ray im not to sure i really beleive in the weird stuff but i know weird things happen in my life too. Like all my 5 kids were all born in march and october. My girlfriends told me i must only do it twice a year the witches. But i do believe everything happens for a reason

Storm - feeling very seedy these last few days and Ive got clear gooie cm thats lasted for 6 days. Told Jed last night and he just grinned at me and then says - oh a november baby just before the heat. Im only on day 16 of my cycle so we'll see. Cant be bothered waiting until October now, it seems to far away plus SIL gets married in August next year so we'd be pushing it. Just have that funny feeling and you all know what that is, especially since we all have more than 2 kids.

In my family we like sharing birthdays my mum and sister were born on the same day, my mums sister and her daughter were born on the same day, and my cousin and her daughter were born on the same day. I was supposed to be born on my dads birthday but i came 7 weeks early, my oldest son was supposed to be born on my mum and sisters birthday but came 3 weeks early, my middle son was due on the anniversary of my grandfathers death but came 4 weeks early, and my youngest son was supposed to be born on my husbands birthday but came 2 weeks early my husband has the best birth date 7/7/77. Even more freaky i have 10 friends that were born on the same day as me 2/4/75 but 3 are younger then me 1 friend we were born in the same hospital went to the same kindergarten same primary school same high school and now live down the street from one another . She was born 6 mins earlier then me

how long after the op did it take for you to get pregnant?, i'm getting really nervy we have to wait until sept to have the op but i want it NOW. It never took long for my hubby and I to fell pregnant before, but i'm wondering if it would take longer because of the tubes.
I'm hoping take a few months to get preg because i would like a xmas bubs my xmas have sucked since my dad died i wish i had the money now.

em, wow, thats amazing....... in my family we have four of the 21 grandchildren born in january-each 4 days apart( 2, 6,10,14) numbers truly mean sumthin don't they! i hope that you are feeling okay about the dye... im sure it will turn out to be a good thing and you'll probably fall really quick after having it done!

Hi Ray, it took us exactly 12 months to fall with Zaccie. But that was after 8 years of having the clips on. I dunno if the time the clips are on for makes a difference????
