    Could it be an ingrown hair? I get the same "little ball" if i dont exfoliate after waxing!! - its not painful and moves around but (sorry this is gross!!) if i wait a few days and squeeze it, the ingrown hair pops out

    Is is under the skin? If so it sounds like a enlarged lymph node. Your body might be fighting off an infection.

    hmmm...maybe im just the icky one!! - mine can get, erm, quite large

    another thought was maybe a sebaceous gland? - my dh has one at the base of his neck that he gets checked, but dr has said its nothing to worry about....

    I made an app at the Dr and this morning it's gone! Weird...do you think I should still go see the Doc?

    Probably a lymph node then. The other ones don't usually go away by themselves. Any marks on your skin where it was?
