    Re: Warts

How long usually before it's going black? 3 full nights and no difference at all yet. DH reckons I'm wasting my time and should just go to the dr and get them dry iced... Ouch!

    Re: Warts

    Rosetti - I wish I was cleverer with photos - I just can't can't can't get one uploaded.

I started on Monday afternoon. Because of the location (it's right on the back of my hand) I decided that it needed to have a bandaid on it during the day in case it went gross like some of you mentioned.

It went white straight away. Kept applying it in the morning and covering it and then taking it off late in the day and leaving it over night.
Well this morning I woke up and the top of it had fallen off! It's smaller now, but I'm going to keep persevering. It looks better already.

So, it is working for me. I think.

    Re: Warts

I have 2 big ones and 3 little one. They are white by morning (pruney and raised). Take bandaid off all day then repeat it at night. Nothing is changing though. Maybe I'll keep trying for another few days and go from there

    Re: Warts

Are you putting the acv on some cotton wool & then a band aid on top?
You could even leave it on all day & just put a fresh one on at night.

    Re: Warts

We put ours on before bed and left them treated overnight. In the morning they were white any healthy skin around them looked a little red on some of them. It took them a few days at least to start turning brown. We had one that took probably a week before it started to turn, it was one of the smallest and newest actually. Some of the skin around them started to peel a bit too. We've been going for 2 or 3 weeks. We've had LOTS to treat though.

    Re: Warts

Yeah I am. I shower in the morning so I'm guessing the water would wash the acv off then.

It took at least a week before i noticed any changes in my daughters, so i'd keep doing what your doing
    Fx something happens soon.

    Re: Warts

Would like to show you mine today, but failing with the photo upload thing.
Anyway it's still there and kinda gross, but it is definitely working. I have knocked it a couple of times because of where it is and made it bleed, but its all going to plan otherwise.

I kept treating it when it was black. Kept treating for a time after it had fallen off too.

    Re: Warts

I stopped when I couldn't bear the pain and my toe was so tender. Was only semi going black, now it's black (no treatment in 5 days). No pain now either. I figured nothing was happening and was losing patience.

Only got the vinegar from Coles...so probably wasn't the good stuff like health shops sell

Hmmm- my DD said hers didn't hurt at all and she is a drama queen. We got Coles cheap vinegar too.

    Re: Warts

Mine never complained either but hers was on her hand.
Maybe the ACV isn't strong enough, we used the one from the health food shop.

    Re: Warts

DS only complained that his hurt once, but that was when he knocked one of his big outward growing ones which was tender to begin with and the whole reason we started this process. He never complained that the actual treatment hurt, which is different to when we used the wart off stuff from the chemist which he did complain about hurting. Oh and he complained once when I put the band aid on too tight.

We used the macro organics ACV from woolies. But again not on plantar warts just regular ones.
