I went to the Adelaide Gaol for a christmas do but I think I had had too many to notice anything. I did go through Port Arthur with DH and DD1 and when we got to the old cafe area I burst into tears. (DH had to explain to DD why I was so upset) I also struggled to walk around in the old cells area, it felt like people were watching us.

LOL, I have been youtubing....The guide we had last night was Geoff faust (I think??) he is actually head of the paranormal field of investigation in Adelaide, they have actual footage from the gaol if you feel up to looking!

I've done a Gaol tour & I actually couldn't stay. It was too dark & there was too much "noise" for me. I personally don't think it's a great thing to do - you can really open yourself up to things unless you really protect yourself first. IMO.

This is on our to-do list - but then we're quite into the paranormal investigating...

Freo would be another good one... I'll put that on the list

WOW that sounds very interesting, something like that would be awesome.
LO's are so so intune with these kinds of things, the other people with you probably got a better experience out of having your DS there... made it all the more creepy.
    Might have to google.
