ZF - you've mentioned a number of times and older lady being with you - you've always felt the lady was friendly - maybe that's your great nan watching out for you.

i believe that there is someone watching over DD - i can't work out who exactly, but i think it's DH's mum. it's a comforting presence - and when DH is home it shifts as if stepping back because it knows we're protected by him - but when he's not home, there is definitely something. DD wakes up happy and talks her little head off to someone. she watches something that doesn't seem to be there - and it's always in the same places.

take comfort in knowing you have a "friendly" taking care of you. and if it was your great nan's "destiny" to pass and to help you bring A into the world, then she has done a damn fine job!

it is a nice feeling knowing someone is watching her. i know how close DH and his mum were - and i think she has been watching out for him for a while and now that she knows he and i watch out for each other, she watches over DD

i am pretty sure she was with him when he got sick just before we met - he got injured at work and his blood went septic. had to have major surgery and stuff - he said he was really unwell but something just kept him going to get to the hospital. he had no contact with anyone, it was like he was being pushed to go there...
