Heres a story for you... My Pa passed away when i was 5 and my sister was 3. She doesn't really remember him. My dad used to be an interstate truck driver and one night when my sister was about 16, she had a dream about my Pa and he was saying to her over and over "Wake your dad up, wake your dad up, wake your dad up". It really freaked her out and she woke up in fright at about 3 in the morning. She called my dad, who answered the truck phone and told him about her dream. He told her not to be silly and that he was fine, to go back to sleep and he'd talk to her tomorrow.

A few years ago, my dad came clean and said that he'd been asleep at the wheel when she called him. The phone call had woken him up. He'd driven staright through the middle of a town at 3am asleep at the wheel of the truck.

It freaked him out so much that he hadn't been able to tell us the truth. He never believed in anything like that before, but he certainly does now!

This is a great thread, I've really been enjoying reading it.

I do readings...have done for a number of years...started with paying more attention to my intuition and it just more and more accurate from there, developed the skills further doing hands-on healing. Now I use a very deliberate method of pushing energy through a person (like reiki) and then catching the information that comes out the other side. Much quicker and easier than sitting around waiting for 'someone' to pop in and tell me LOL. I've done a number of expos and shows where you only get 15 min with the client and this ensures that I get straight on to what they're there for.

    thread whore time

I remember doing a reading for a friend once up in QLD...I was 19 and it was my first freak out. I smiled at her and told her she'd find the love of her life, marry him and have the perfect life but to please be careful driving home from work. After she left I told another person who was in the room at the same time what i had actually read. I had no time frame other then it being soon
I found out 2 weeks later that one night coming home from work we ran off the road and wrapped her car around a tree. It was exactly what the small girl next to her was telling me at the time.

Whilst I was up there I remember going into s spirital shop with my exDF and a few friends.....a woman who was in her 30's but with excessively white hair followed me and didnt leave me out of her sight. She clicked into me and apparently the store was a way of getting new clients in for the dark side. I had alot of bad stuff happen for a week after that....one thing that made my ex run was me screaming that 'they' were everywere...the caravan we were living in was rocking like all hell and there was screaming all around it...we had others in the caravan park come and grab me out of it. A dark shadow leaped to my parents van next to us stop and then just vanish.l It never came back again but when Lost was on that black evil cloud reminded me so much of it.

I had an old XC that i LOVEDDDDDDDDDD. I went out to a tupperware party out in the hicks and a gf of mine followed in her car. It was all good on the wya there but on the way home I saw this white speck in the distance...then all off a sudden this white speck was a man running in a white tracksuit next to my car, smiling and I smiled back at him. He pointed to my speedo and put hishand up as if to say stop. I smiled and looked down to see that I was doing 140km's looked at him to thank him but he was gone. Right then my mobile rang and my GF folowing me was frekaing out because she was the lightcome up to my car stay and then disapear. as we approached town there were ambulances and cop cars everywere...there was ahuge car accident and if I would have kept travelling at the speed I was there is no doubtt that I would have been in the middle of it.

ohhh i know what you are talking about there lol! the black shadow thingy from Lost was *kinda* like the scary as hell thing that used to harass me for years on end...not so round and formed, but black shadowy/smoky like itms. totally uncool TBH.

my Oma passed away yesterday morning. and the last 2 weeks have been pretty full on as my Godmother (who passed away 13 years ago) kept visiting me (she has done this in the past a few times). i tried ignoring the 'presence' for awhile (didnt realise it was skadi) until she bucketed a toddler stool at me lol! but she kept me updated basically over the the last couple of weeks and tried to prepare me as much as possible. still, it didnt help with the real loss iykwim but darn it it felt good to know that Oma was ready and that she was going to be there to hold her hand. One thing that i dont understand is that the night before Oma died (so thursday) i had a man (silhouette only) standing guard at my front door. when i 'opened' the door (didnt physically, dont know how best to describe it...) he turned and i wasnt scared, he just gave this reassuring and knowledgable look. I'm not sure who he is or what he was doing there??!! but man oh man he was frikkin powerful! i am intrigued...does anyone know what or who this could be?

overall it was a very strange night (we had a massive gum tree fall on our bedroom roof and but by some miracle it didnt come crashing down on us...SES and the whole works took about 4 hours to clear it...it was a nasty fall across powerlines etc).

Cass - so sorry your Oma has passed. What a blessing to have your godmother there helping you at this time. Maybe the man was standing there to make sure none of you went outside where the branch fell, or maybe he just gave it a bit of a push as it came down so it didn't hurt anyone?
