I would have it taken out asap.
I had my ex MIL try to convince me it was the right thing for me to do back when I was 22. I told her no way. I am so glad I never went through with it.
My DH and I only use condoms. He knows I am not ready to have another baby... like Bon, after we've had bub #4, DH is going to get the snip. Until then, he understands how my body reacts to other contraceptives, so he is more than willing to take charge when it comes to our contraceptives. It is a great feeling being 100% you and nothing artificial messing around with your body & hormones.

I hope you feel much better when you get your Mirena removed. Stand your ground hun... it's your body.
