Talking The 2nd & last time....

Well that was D&C no. 2 today & the 2nd time I have had to say goodbye to a much wanted bubba.
It is onwards & upwards from here though & I am choosing to believe that I will never again have to go through the ordeal of the last few days. Call me naive but I am choosing to be optimistic & filling my space with positive energy. I know the reality for many women is very different & believe me after the stories of loss I have read on here in the last few days & the tears I have shed for those women - my heart was close to breaking.
How this came to be....On Monday at my 12 wk NT scan for bubba no 3 I got the horrid news that the pg was not viable. This exact same thing had happened to me in 2006 so I could not believe the nightmare was happening all over again. So many of you have been there I know & that is a great comfort to me.
Typing this is the first step to my healing. Physically I am feeling great after my d&c, emotionally - that will be a work in progress & having this site is such an awesome help.
    Thanks for listening....

I'm so sorry you are going through this again hun
I think you have the right idea though and staying positive is the only way to get through it. I'm still trying to do the same thing after my mc and just keep telling myself that there's absolutely no reason to believe it should happen again. I admire your strength though dahl.

Big hugs, I am sorry for your loss. I told myself the same thing after my second m/c and it worked, DS will be two this December! It is hard to go through the grief and emotions and stay positive but it CAN be done. I would just visualise something positive when I felt that I was getting worried. I spent most of my first tri with DS looking at pictures from other peoples 12 week scans and visualising a healthy baby.... i cried my eyes out when I looked at the screen and it was my healthy baby. Sending you all the best wishes in the world!! It WILL happen for you.
