2nd scan today and so scared..

Thank you for your support.
I had a scan yesterday at 8w5d. Baby now measured 7w5d so had grown exactly a week in a week and the sac too had grown by a week in the week although still a week behind the baby in measurement.
But we had no heartbeat.
I am going for a confirmation scan on Friday then having a D&C on Tuesday. It seems my body does not recognise the baby is no more. I have no spotting or cramping. I am tired and have nausea still on and off which I hadn't had in the past 2 weeks.
The scan showed a thin dark line at the top of the sac which my OB described as the separation of the sac from the uterus but I was wondering if it was the collapsed second sac.
I guess we'll know for sure on Friday.
