    Bittersweet

Last night I had cuddles with my friend's little one week old bub. The friend who had the same EDD that I had. Before.

Her little girl arrived three weeks early - so I can take solace from the fact that I'd probably still be pregnant now, seeing that I seem to have longer bakers than that.

But I couldn't help thinking... this could have been me. I could have one like this.

I think I did ok. She is gorgeous. But it still hurt, just a little bit.

yes it is bittersweet. I'm so glad that people that were pregnant at the same time as me are taking home live babies (or about to) but it hurts at the same time. Much love xoxo.

I think you did very well, you handled it much better than I did.

Its hard to see a baby the same age as your angel, and I think it is quite ok to be sad and happy at the same time. One does not negate the other.

I think regardless of time or being pg etc... doesn't take away from the hurt and grief of losing a baby. Huge hugs, you did so well & I wish your friend and her baby all the best and to you too.

Definitely agree with the others that you did fantastically well. I had this experience earlier this year and I was a basket case - poor newborn nearly drowned in my tears I think.

I think being pregnant again softens it, but nothing takes away from the fact that like you say, its a "this should have been" moment. We never forget our precious angel babes. My SIL has just passed her angel's due date and is not pregnant again yet. I worry for her, and worry how hard the impact of my baby being born will be for her.
