G'day, look everyone is so different...

I had a hysteroscopy/D&C in Oct06 and bled for approx 4 days or so, then lighter for another week approx, normal period came about 4wks after.

In June of this year we lost bub # 2 and needed another D & C and only had small amount of bleeding (much less than the last time)... my system still isn't right and I may need to go in for another procedure after next period (dependant on what ultrasound shows)

As far as no sex, after D & C's specialist told me to wait #1 for bleeding to stop and #2 until you are emotionally ready of course.... wasn't told anything about waiting 6wks to have sex, she did however tell me to wait for a period before 'trying' if we wanted to straight away...

Any concerns, talk to your doc... mine is fantastic and always puts my mind at ease whenever I have any concerns....
