    Getting AF back

I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been with how long it took to get AF back after their miscarriage.

It is 6 1/2 weeks since I miscarried and I really don't think I'm showing any signs of it returning. With the miscarriage I had last year AF returned at 5 1/2 weeks and I then fell pregnant the next cycle, which unfortunately ended in miscarriage. I don't know what my body is doing!!! So frustrating!!! I just want it back so we can start TTC again!!

After my m/c's (8 of them now) AF has always returned in 4-6wks. Maybe give it a little long then pop back to your GP if your concerned.

    I'm sorry for your loss

i can't remember how long AF came back after my m/c, i think it was about 4-6 weeks? like toomanyshoes said if it hasn't come back in a little bit, maybe just go back to your GP for some answers? i know this is hard....but is there anyway you think you might be pregnant? i know the Dr said to me that women can get really fertile after a m/c?

so sorry for your loss, big to you.

Definitely not pregnant! I tested a few days just to make sure. I generally have longer cycles anyway around 35 days, maybe my body is still readjusting?

Thanks girls! AF arrived!!! Started spotting a couple of days ago and heavy this morning!

Might partly explain my mood swings over the past two weeks! Ever since having babies I seem to get worse pms, although I had just put it down to the emotions I've been dealing with over my recent losses.

I keep feeling af cramps and think 'oh no the baby!' then realise hang on you're not pregnant and then relax! Feel like I've been pregnant so long it feels strange to not be pregnant now.
