I'm really annoyed on your behalf that it took them so long to reach that conclusion. I hope you don't need the surgery and that your tube can be saved. :(

I am really annoyed also for you. From early on there were big concerns about ectopic pregnancy. Very slow rising HCG around the 4-5weeks especially when it then takes off like normal, bleeding, nothing to be seen in the uterus, saying your not as far along as you thought you were, then seeing a mass and nothing in the uterus and making you wait another 48hrs was really negligent of them. Unfortunately with what was happening with your HCG initially from what I have seen this pregnancy was not going to result in a living baby. I was really hoping to be proven wrong but from the training I have had and cases I have seen it was impossible unless there was lab errors etc. Any EPAS would know this and not made you wait so long to get definite results or give false reassurance. They really should be held accountable IMO. I hate to put things so bluntly and I am truly so sorry your going through this. Thinking of you at such a hard time xx

Still waiting with this "thing" in me... :-( surgery is booked for 1.30pm but I have a funny feeling I might get in later than that.

Oh my gosh pp that is awful I would have thought it would be classed as urgent surgery due to risk. I am so sorry your ordeal just gets worse and worse. I would ask the nursing staff if they know who complaints go to and go from there. Sending you a big hug xo

There are other people classed as higher risk eg. Cat 1 csections etc. and it is a maternity hospital...

It must be frustrating though and I hope everything stays as it is while you wait xo

Just got out of surgery... They took my right tube :-(

PP I am so sorry. I remember how I felt after my surgery it was awful and still upsets me now several years later. I certainly felt like I lost a lot more than my much wanted pregnancy.
On a more positive note your tube removed would have been damaged and if repaired you would have been at a much higher risk of another ectopic so at least with it gone completely the risk of it happening again is less xxx

PP I'm sorry your loss has been dragged out and with such severe concequences. I had my left tube removed nearly 10yrs ago and it still haunts me. Please be kind to yourself. :comfort:

Just woke up... This hurts so badly! Physically and emotionally :-( I've lost a baby, and my tube all in the same day... :-( feeling crappy.
