Hi Miss B - just to lessen your depression on the red dots vs green dots theory, I am 38 (39 in June) and have an AMH level of 1.1 - well that was 6 months ago, goodness knows what it is now and I have managed 4 pregnancies in the last 12 months so please don't give up hope, doctors don't know everything remember!!!!!!!
Hi Sara - I'm so sorry AF turned up, witch that she is. Wishing you some sticky vibes that next month is yours xx
-
Miss B please don't think of red dots :( sucky site its green dots all the way babe!
-
Joeve, thanks hun, that made me laugh! Green dots all the way then :) Stupid stupid red dots :nahnah:
Alison, thanks for sharing that with me. You are a very fertile lady hun :) I'm sorry again for all your losses, it's such a gamble when the egg numbers are low. It's just a matter of getting that good egg hey? How are you feeling today?
Sara, I'm sorry AF arrived hun
Hello to everyone else :)
Well, I'm getting unusual O pains, more intense and weirder than my normal O pains. So I figure it's worth going for gold this month before we start the next IVF cycle soon, in case all the acupuncture has made me super fertile. So off to jump DF's bones . Haha, I'm going to put myself in a 'natural' TWW, you never know, we could get a really really strong swimmer and my big perfect green egg this cycle!! hahahahaha
-
Hi Miss B - oooh you go get that green egg....hang on, that doesn't sound right - but you know what I mean he he xx
AFM - had bloods again today and numbers are rising nicely so far, progesterone is still a little low, it's up from Monday but not back to how it was last weekend before I forgot that 1 suppository, grrr. They don't seem worried about it so I will try not to as well. My stomach is black and blue from the Clexane injections, fun and games. I am suffering what I can assume is tailbone pain today though, when sitting down for a while it aches in my bum and hurts when I stand up to walk, and radiates down my leg a little. I was freaking out a bit earlier but I am hoping it's just some normal stretching going on, I do have a tilted uterus so maybe it's that. I do not remember this with my daughter but it was 2.5 years ago.....I hope the extra 6kgs I'm carrying this time haven't got anything to do with it
-
Great news about the levels rising nicely Alison! I wouldn't worry about the progesterone hun, if the clinic is not worried about it, you shouldn't be either. I guess it's just one less thing to worry about! I hope that pain in the tailbone goes away for you soon. I found when I was pg there were all sorts of little pains here and there but I just put it down to the body reacting to the pg. I hope you'll be able to have a much more relaxing weekend now hun, will be so much more relaxing than the last one :)
-
Hi Ladies
Alison - That's great news on your levels. I know it's hard but if the clinic aren't too concerned about your progesterone then try and streees (is that the right word) less. If your really worried maybe ask them if it's ok to increase the progesterone? Even if it's for your own peace of mind.
MissB how are those O pains going? BD'ing going on?
Hi everyone else Joeve, Keike & Sara. Hope all is well.
-
Hi Ladies
Your all very quiet.
-
Hi Porsche - Yeah, all quiet in here. I dont really come here as much anymore, but just wanted to see if you were ok. How is the IVF going?
-
Hi DG
All going well IVF wise. My BT is on Saturday so just riding it out until then. But in saying that I'll be joining you ladies in the pregnancy after MC thread. Just waitng for BT to confirm levels for me.
-
Porsche that sounds wonderful. I am wishing you all the best for your BT on Sat. I hope you get the confirmation you've been waiting for!
-
Porsche, great news on your nice stong second line!!! GL with your BT on Saturday hunni :crossfingers: I've been busy around the O time yes, hehehehe, I'm on CD 14 today day. How funny would it be if I got pg naturally with all the acupuncture and herbs I've been having, before my cycle in May?? It would truly be a miracle, and yes, they do happen :)
Hello to all the lovely ladies in here :)
b xoxox
-
Thanks ladies.
Still early days yet and as we all know things *can* happen between now and then so FX.
MissB - stranger things have happened. You hear about it all the time. FX it happens for you. 2 of my IVF MG have fallen pregnant naturally after having IVF babies. not me :(.
-
Hi Girls....
Hi Porsche - OMG yay good luck for your blood test Saturday! How exciting!!!! When will you be due, early Jan?
AFM - doing well so far, was feeling scared yesterday as my next testing day came around but my numbers were great, quadrupled since Thursday and my progesterone is finally on the up. Woke up feeling a little yuk this morning so hoping this one's a sticky one! Booked my dreaded 7 week scan so 2 weeks to go. That will be a hard day given that's the time when everything fell apart last time.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
xx
-
Hi Ladies
Alison - Yes I'll be due Jan 9th. Great news on your levels and progesterone. I'llbe looking out for my progesterone this time unfortunatly. Another 2WW. Hopefully it arrives soon for you FX.
I'm not feeling excited about this BFP. I guess just have to reach the milestones. 1st one being the 1st BETA BT. I feel nauseous on and off and my back is aching and eventually goes down my hips and into my legs.
-
Just popping my head in to check on everyone. Been away on holidays down south for a family wedding. AF was very unusual this cycle, bled for 5 days then 2 days of nothing then bled lightly off and on up until 2 days ago. I should have been ovulating around that time so now I dont know whats going on. Took pity on DH and dtd last night and started spotting slightly not long afterward. Im freaking out because its so unusual for me to have this happen, and I have been extremely slack about my pap smears so my worst fear mind is conjuring up diagnosis of cervical cancer or something. Have IVF specialist appt on May 30 so just have to hold out a little longer.
I just wish I could catch a break :(
-
HI Freya
I hated the spotting. It was annoying. My cycle is all over the place.. My mind wanders to things like that too. Worst case type scenario. Scarey and unneccessary. FX for your FS appointment.
-
Hi Girls!
Hi Freya, I'm sure it's just an odd cycle, I've had that happen before, try not to worry.
Hi Porsche - where are you at with yours?
AFM - well girls, yet again, I'm not out of the woods. My HCG numbers have been rising nicely - great in fact, was booked in for my dating scan for yesterday, woke up Monday morning, gush of blood and clot......raced down to the clinic and they sent me for an urgent scan with me fearing the worst. Got a heartbeat - although the sonographer (same as the last time when she was so harsh with me) said she's sitting on the fence as it was 95bpm and the average is 100bpm for the gestation.....anyway she found a large subchorionic hematoma can you bloomin believe it!!!! I just cannot win. It's about the same size as the sac and while 40% of women get this in pregnancy the larger the clot the more at risk of miscarrying you are. So I've been ordered to take it easy and go back for another scan next Monday. Yeah, take it easy with a 2.5 year old while stressing about having your 4th miscarriage. I am feeling really seedy all day which i hope is a good sign but the clinic aren't measuring my bloods/progesterone anymore since I've technically have a viable pregnancy. I don't know what to do, how to feel, I just can't keep putting myself through this, why can't I just be normal!
-
Hi Ladies
Alison god your poor thing. I can't imagine what your going through. Relax yeah right. Glad to hear all your levels are rising. And your feeling seedy. All good signs. FX your luck changes soon.
I had a + BT with levels of HCG 701 and pregesterone 162. So good "strong" levels according to the nurse. I have another BT on Saturday to check levels and then I'll book in for the 7 week viability scan. I too feel seedy on and off. I've had a couple of moments where I thought I was going to throw up. I wish I could that would ease some of my anxiety. I'm not looking too far ahead. Just the little milestones like this next BT and then the scan etc... I'm not 'excited' at all just cautious. I'll be happy when and IF I reach 10 weeks.
-
that's great Porsche, what cycle day did you get 701 on, that's a good number for early on. My 14dpo level was 204, on Monday it was up to 27,400. But just to show how bad my progesterone is, I'm on 3 suppositories a day and it's still hovering around 60, sometimes it's a little lower!!! Good luck and I hope things run smoothly for you, I am praying for a miracle personally. xx
-
Alison - I'm hoping your little miracle pulls through for you. After all the crap this has to be your fairytale.
I got my 701 at 12dp5dt or 16DPO counting from EPU. I keep getting the wide eyed look from FS's nurses lol. It must be a high level. Good cause otherwise I'd be ina flap. I was getting + HPT's from 4dp5dt.
-
Oh Alison, you do deseve a break and a stress free pg (well as much stress free as possible considering it's a pg after a m/c so it's always going to be stressful). I wish they could give you the all clear hun, it just sucks! The fact that the levels are rising nicely is very good and a comforting thing. Now we have to wait for the hematoma to go away. I'm sorry you are going through this hun, I wish it was more plain sailing for you. Big hugs and hang in there lovely
-
Freya, I'm sure all is well, it's hard not to imagine the worst though, when you're body is misbehaving! Hope your FS app. goes well for you hun :crossfingers: Hopefully you won't need it ;)
-
Hi girls, looks like I'll be sticking around longer than I had hoped. I had my follow up scan after my hematoma was discovered last week, only to be told bub hasn't shown much growth and the heart rate has dropped. Waiting to talk to the specialist tomorrow but another miscarriage is inevitable. I am struggling more than ever, this is my 4th in 12 months, I was so positive this time as i have been feeling so sick and my HCG levels have been fantastic. Just goes to show. The question is, do I give up the losing battle or give IVF a go, I don't know what to do, how to feel anymore
-
Alison oh man the only think I can say is faaarrr out. My heart just sank for you. I am sorry you are going through this again, so horrible. Hugsx
-
Alison, just wanted to pop in and send you a big  Wish there was more I could do :(
-
Hi Ladies
Alison I replied in the other thread but just sending big hugs and thoughts.
-
Alison, I also replied in the other thread.:comfort:
-
Thinking of you Alison  xoxox
-
Oh Alison :( Dont worry about decisions right now, just process the next few weeks then go from there.
-
Just a little update on myself; still got random blood tinged mucous but bleeding has gone. Should be due for AF again end of this week, start of next maybe. I dont know anymore.
Life has gone to crud though, last wednesday two of the kids and I were in a car accident - our Tarago is probably written off and the other vehicle (at fault) lied to police and insurance, blaming it on me. The kids and I have been pretty stressed and traumatised by it; Ds2 has autism and he has not coped at all with what happened. Im still a little sore a week later but nothing dramatic. Finally they are assessing the car to see if its fixable or if we get a check to buy a new one. Then Ds3 was diagnosed with asthma, Ive spent the last two nights worrying while he coughs and wheezes in his sleep - last night nearly resulted in a hospital visit. I just cant catch a break, starting to think we are cursed :(
DG, Porsche - how are you girls doing?
-
HI Ladies
Freya - OMG how awful for you. I hope they write off your car. My DH has a commodore that he crashed and it should have been written off but they repaired it and It has been nothing but a lemon since. DH refuses to get rid of it. Try and push for it to be written off so you can get a new one. You've had a rough few weeks . I hope it gets better for you.
I'm doing OK just anxiously waiting for our 7 week viability scan. I'm obsessing over everything HCG levels preogesterone levels. Dr Google is being kept busy.
-
Oh Freya, how awful hun! I'm glad you're all OK. That would have been very scary for you all. I really hope you can get a break soon xoxoxox
-
Freya, thats awful. I hope things start improving for you soon.
AFM - Im 11w now and still stressing a lot, which I guess is normal.
Thinking of all you precious ladies in this thread :grouphug:
-
Hi Porsche - answering your HCG question from earlier, I had a 204 reading at 14dpo which they said was a great level, at 16dpo it was 380.....maybe it's twins for you?
AFM - I'm just sitting here waiting until Monday, apparently they won't do anything until my bub's heart beat stops. This sucks, I feel sick day in day out, can't sleep at night, the bloating from the progesterone is actually painful, I just want to move on and I can't again. Am appalled at the clinic's treatment, they didn't even call me, I had to call them and then the nurse said the specialist hadn't said anything other than re-scan on Monday WTF! So my cousin who's an OB works at another clinic, it's a little hike eto get there but she's squeezing me in with the professor/director of the clinic, we're going to go straight to IVF with pre-implantation genetic testing so we can avoid any dud eggs, I have gotten pregnant 4 times in 12 months so that's not my problem, now I have the prog sorted I just need to make sure I get good eggs. I think I'm more angry this time in all honesty, that this has happened again, I wanted the FS to look into other options are my last miscarriage in January but I couldn't get into see him until last week, which of course I cancelled as I didn't think I needed it! GRRRR to the world I say.
-
Alison, massive hugs honey . I can only imagine how stressed you must be and pi**ed off as well at the treatment you've been getting. Boo to them all! Hopefully your cousin's clinic can steer you in the right direction. I'm sure they will hun. You seem very fertile hun, I guess it's just getting that good eggie. My problem too :(. Boo hoo! xoxoxox
-
Hi Ladies
Alison - I'm so glad your seeing someone else. The clinic your with sound very lax for lack of a better word. They haven't got your best intrest at heart. Does this Dr just focus on fertility or does he/she do obstetrics as well? You need to see someone who is focused on fertility only. That way they are working for YOU and not treating you as a side "hobby" so to speak. You need someone who won't feed you BS either. If you were in QLD I'd highly recomend my FS. Many patients fly in from interstate to see him.
Let us know how you go. This must be absolute agony for you..
-
Yes I agree with what Porsche said. Alison where are you based??
-
Well my luck may either be looking up or going to spectacularly drop.
I got a +. I tested because I could, its kind of become a compulsion, the closer I get to AF the more I want to test and usually I do. I nearly fell off the toilet in surprise, its a pretty obvious + but still quite faint. Considering I had all that bleeding and we only dtd ONCE on like CD18 or something I cant believe its even happened. Im freaking out. Really freaking out. And Dh is away until the 30th May which happens to be the same day as my IVF appt.
Part of me wants to run off to the Drs on Monday and get bloods done; majority of me wants to bury my head in the sand. Im taking asprin JIC. I dont even know how many DPO I could be, I could be 10-11dpo or I could be earlier. I dont think AF is due til Mon or Tues so my guess is 11-12dpo today. If I was optimistic I would say its a decent + for that dpo...............ugh but I keep getting a few little cramps and doing the wipe and check. I really REALLY hate this :(
Man another possible January baby. If it does work out, we'll have two birthdays in January (Ds2 is Jan 2nd, his EDD was Jan 17th!), it would be good timing as DH is on holidays for most of Dec/Jan every year. Downside is its the middle of wet season which equals rain and ridiculous humidity.
I definitely wont be sharing til we see a heartbeat. Ive only told select people because I wanted to make sure I wasnt imagining the second line.
-
Yay Freya!!!!!! Im sooo happy for you. I am hoping and praying that this is a sticky baby for you! BTW, Ive been taking asprin since my BFP too. Hugs for the next few months as its a scary time for us with recurrent m/c.
-
So because Im paranoid I went and bought a FRER and a digital, even though I have never gotten a 'pregnant' on the digitals until I have been atleast 4 days past AF being due, usually closer to 5 weeks.
There is a definate line on the FRER, nearly identical in colour strength. And I got 'Pregnant 2-3' on the digital :o I nearly fell off my chair. I would be barely 12dpo! It should only say 1-2. So I hope that is a huge indication of a very sticky baby.
I still dont believe it. Please powers that be, let the next 3 weeks go fast
