thanks for your comments even though i am all sorted now. i did have to have d&c in the end and would definitely not use the tablets if i ever have to make that decision again. they did advise to use misoprostol before having the d&c as well to open up the cervix, so all in all i had 3 doses of it.

Babyluv i also had concerns about an invasive procedure, which is why i opted for tablets. it sounds like you had a very bad experience after taking them. i didn't have much pain or anything like that, i just had retained products and constant bleeding that could not be controlled.
