    our loss

afternoon ladies, 24th September was the worlds worst day, went for our 20week ultrasound and found out we lost our twins. There they were sleeping in my growing belly looking oh so perfect.

It has been the most horrific experiance it just breaks my heart to think about it. The ladies in radiology were angels but then we had to wait to see the obstratition and thats when things went even further down hill. myself and my husband got no empathy what so ever, were taken to maternity to sit and wait for her for over half an hour then told they were busy and to come back monday to see her.

I went back monday and said i have no hope in hell of having children until i lose weight. The OB had a student in with her and she just couldnt care less.

We named our babies a few days later, Grace and Colbin. I miss them everyday and would just like to say a thank you to TLC pregnancy, stillborn and infanct loss for their help when the health care system failed us.

    love to all

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious twins Grace and Colbin . You have given them such beautiful names.

I'm sorry you were treated so badly by your OB, I can't believe she could be so insensitive .

Oh hun, big hugs coming your way. Losing a baby/babies is such a devastating loss, I wish no one had to suffer it. It's amazing the bond that we mums form with our little ones even though they are so tiny. I lost my little boy very soon after my 20 week scan 2 years ago. At the time, and even now I feel so robbed. I have come to accept my loss now, but I still feel angry why it had to be like this and why Josh is not here to celebrate his birthdays and Christmases.

You have given your angels such beautiful names. They will never leave your mind and heart. RIP beautiful angels.

Take care hun, and be gentle to yourself.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful twins. You have given them lovely names

Sounds like the Ob was not at all helpful and I'm sorry that you had to go through that as well. I don't think what she said about your weight sounds right either and her timing is attrocious!

I am sorry to hear of you loss of the precious Grace and Colbin. I have had great support from Sids since I lost Ellen at 41 weeks.
Go gently with yourself. You will get through this but you will be changed.
I would make a written complaint about the OB. How DARE she try and treat you with anything but complete respect!

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious babies. I understand how devastating it would have been for you and the daily sadness and endless 'why' you ask.

I am so sorry too that you have such an uncompassionate OB. I know my OB has been a strength to me and even 8 years later he still understands the pain we experienced when we lost out little girl at 31 wks.

I hope you find some comfort with all the ladies here who care for you and sned you hugs.

    Big hugs from me too.

I am terribly sorry for you and your DH. The names you chose are beautiful. I wish your OB had been more understanding; mine was a darling when we lost our babies.
