    it is NOT a molar

I just got the call from my FS - it was not a molar pregnancy - just retained tissue. I cannot describe my sense of relief.

I could not have made it through this last week without the support from my bellybelly friends - I don't have the words to express how grateful I am to all of you.

FS is still waiting for the chromosonal testing, but this is insignificant in my eyes compared to the molar test results. DH & I have been Karotyped and we know even if there is an abnormality, it isn't an inherited one but a spontaneous one...common at my age.

That is just fantastic! Well about the molar...not the rest. Hope that this means that everything else now settles down and you can get back to TTC...Make sure you take some time for you and DH, just because you are TTC again doesnt mean you wont still need support for all that you have gone through!

Heres hoping that this is the last hurdle you have to go through!

it is fantastic (as bizarre as that sounds) and to top it off (it's odd that this is such good news, but in this context, it is), it was confirmed today that the m/c was due to a trisomy 22...similar to my first m/c which was a trisomy 13. So we have an explanation. As I might have mentioned, DH & I have also been karotyped so we know this is spontaneous (due to age) and not inherited. Just have to continue to wait for the golden egg. (oh - and have to continue to monitor HCG to see it go to zero, but I can handle that now that the worst has been ruled out)

Again - you all have been so wonderful.

This whole experience has also deepened my belief that a having a healthy baby is a miracle to be truly thankful for (not that I needed this driven home in this way - but I find it helps me to take positive things out of awful experiences...like focusing on DH's amazing support and not his dirty boxers on the floor!)

Buliej, So glad that you have an explanation and manage to take positive things out of this experience, you are an amazingly strong woman.
