Hi

I miscarried at 5 weeks starting 5 April. Bleed only for 3 days then stopped. Then a week went by and I bleed again (heavily) for a full week. HCG levels have been monitored since m/c - they plateaued AND have been rising as follows:

3 April HCG @ 3131
6 April @ 4577 - around time of m/c
8 April @ 4055
22 April @ 816
22 April - same day - internal ultrasound by the professional ultrasound place - they saw absolutely nothing - checked uterus and checked for ectopic.
27 April @ 1266
today @ 1491

I am going in for another proper ultrasound at the specialist at 4:30pm today. I want to be prepared. What could be going on? What are they going to look for other than left over product that they didn't see on 22 April? Will a D&C take care of this (I have one tentatively booked for Friday - I told my dr that if the 4:30 U/S showed anything, I wanted it OUT before the weekend).

I feel like I am being tortured and am not getting answers (they say they don't have any for me at the moment).
