I did vomit this morning - guess positive right? But the pain is still there that I can hardly stand straight....... So is this a sign of a miscarriage? Sorry to ask such a painful question but my DH is away with work and I sitting in bed crying and not sure what to do

Not necessarily. You get lot's of pains and twinges in early pregnancy but that being said it sounds like you're in alot of pain so you should prob get yourself to the Dr. Have you had a scan yet? Pain without bleeding usually isn't a concern but better to be safe and get the Dr to look at you. Good luck, hope all is fine, hugs.

Oh sweetie. That sounds like an awful lot of pain.
Ring your GP. Ask for an urgent appointment.

I think you need to go to hospital. As you've had an ectopic before, you're at increased risk of another one. Get someone to drive you. Does this feel similar to your EP?

    I really hope it's nothing.

Chepie - can you get to the hospital or GP? or is it too hard with the kids in tow? FWIW - It is likely fine, but I do think you should get an etopic pregnancy ruled out. Hope the cramping has gone away.

I thought possibly ectopic as well. I would definitely go and get seen as soon as you can, or can an ambulance if the pain is so bad you can't drive.

chepie it could actually be a kidney infection. I have had 2 of those and it sounds just like what you have got. Get to your GP or the ED at your closest hospital and get checked out.

When I had symptoms like that in early pregnancy, I went to the hospital and was found to have a severe UTI. It hadn't given me any signs at all, until I was at the vomiting stage. It had hit my kidneys, resulting in major pain. I chose the hospital over the GP because I knew the hospital would sort it out then and there.

    Hi ladies,

Wow thank you so much for your responses. I had a scan last week and bub is in the right spot so I knew it wasn't ectopic - and let me tell you that's a pain I will never forget...... My mum drove down from Syd - god love her!! Been to the doc and KimB your right possible kidney infection. Waiting on results....

Once again thank you, don't know where I would some days without all the wonderful ladies here
