Mine returned to normal straight away after my D&C. I had AF arrive and things continued as normal. I had the D&C in the beginning of April and we knew we were pg again in July.

I've just got my first period since having DS.
I thought I got it on Christmas day as I got some bright red bleeding but then it stopped.
Started again on Thursday just gone and stopped again. But then came again on Friday and has been here since.
Its quite painful with lots of uterine contractions and quite heavy also.
How's your cycle going OP?
